Mi Power Bank 2i Launched In India With Fast Charging Support

Xiaomi has been launching a lot of products lately, all as a part of their 5th Anniversary here in India. They recently launched an electric trimmer, the Mi SuperBass Wireless Headphones, earphones, etc. While all of them are cool and useful, the one they have launched today is equally a hit. Xiaomi has launched Mi Power Bank 2i with a battery capacity of 20,00mAh.

The coolest feature of the Power Bank is that it supports 18W Fast Charging because we really hate long charging times right? The charger is built of advanced polycarbonate. Xiaomi claims that this power bank can charge their latest devices the Redmi K20 Pro and the Redmi K20, 3 times when the power bank is at full charge. Also, the device provides 2 USB ports, and both of them support fast charging, which means 2 phones can be fast charged at the same time.

Do note that only those devices can be fast-charged which support the 18W fast charging. The power bank supports 18W forDC 5.1V/2.4A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A output, and 10W fast charging for DC 5V/2A output. You can also charge Bluetooth devices with the power bank by double-pressing the button as it brings back the power bank to low power mode because obviously, the Bluetooth devices don’t support fast charging and that current flow could damage them.

Coming to safety, Xiaomi has provided many features for the safe use of the charger. It comes with 9-layer circuit chip protection. It also has many smart safety features built into the power bank like short-circuit protection, over-discharge protection, overcharge protection, and the list goes on.

The Mi Power Bank 2i is available on Mi.com and Flipkart at a price of Rs.1,499 and Xiaomi has decided to go with a Sandstone Black color this time. If you want a charger with less capacity, you can also buy the 10,000mAh variant which is retailing for Rs.899 and is available in 3 color options which are Black, Blue and Red.

Overall I would say it is a great deal. And you are also getting fast charging in a power bank that too at a low price. If you want travel a lot, and you have long trips, then this is the power bank to go for.
