Trekking means walking in the countryside or in the mountains for pleasure or sport, usually for a longer period of time. Trekking is an outdoor activity that can be short or an extended journey. A backpack is always required for a trek. A good backpack always helps to keep the things well organized on any trek. During trekking, one should not eat heavy foods rather he or she should take energy drinks or bars, granola, nuts and, fruits, etc. One should wear track pants, sports shoes, jacket(if it is winter), cap, and other clothes that cover the body. I remember when I was in school, I went on a trip to Manali in my 7th standard and a trip to Shimla when I was in the 9th standard. In bothplaces, we went for trekking and it was so much fun. In Shimla, we were going to Tara Devi Temple by trekking which is situated in the mountains. I really miss those days. It is the best memory of my life to date.
