India is a vast and beautiful country with diverse cultures, languages, religions, and customs. It also has diversity in tradition and food. India is called “Incredible India” because of its beautiful lakes, mountains, oceans, etc. I have visited north India and south India as well. South India is full of temples whereas north India depicts beautiful scenery. People who like sceneries can visit north India.

Following are the places one should visit in north India:
•Amritsar- Amritsar in Punjab is a nice place to visit. One can go to the Golden Temple, a pilgrimage of Sikhism. The temple is plated with gold. The temple also has a pond inside the temple with goldfishes. The temple’s beauty can be seen in the evening also when the lights are turned on. The langar has tasty foods. One can enjoy the Sikhism culture there.

The next is Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar. It is a memorial park. One can see the martyr’s well and marks of bullets in the wall which was fired a long time ago. It is a nice place to visit as tourists get to know a lot about this place. It is situated near the golden temple.

•Chandigarh- Chandigarh is a beautiful city in Punjab and also it is a very clean city. The rock garden of Chandigarh is very famous. The rock garden is a park featuring sculptures made of stone, recycled ceramics, and industrial relics. Beautiful work of stones is seen everywhere. It is also known as Nek Chand’s rock garden after its founder Nek Chand Saini. The garden is visited by over 5000 people daily, with more than 12 million visitors since its inception. Woman celebrates the Teej festival here.

•Shimla- The next place is Shimla. The best time to visit Shimla is in summer during may-june. It is situated in the Himalayan foothills. Shimla has many sight-seeing places such as Tara Devi Mandir, Mall road, Ridge road, and the Christ church, etc. The chilly weather of Shimla attracts tourists. It is a beautiful place to visit, one can go for trekking, mountaineering, and other adventurous activities.

•Manali-Manali in Himachal Pradesh is again a beautiful place to visit. The chilly weather, mountains attract the tourists. As Manali is situated at the mountain range again one can go for adventurous activities like trekking, paragliding, river rafting, etc. The Solang valley and Rohtang pass are very famous here.

•Delhi- Delhi, the capital of India is a metropolitan area. The city is full of monuments and forts because of the ruling of emperors. Delhi has many places to visit such as India gate, red fort, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, Mughal garden, etc.
