Our life is layered up with many relations. These relations are indeed the blessings that we get from our society. These relations comprise the role of being a parent, husband-wife, child, and boyfriend girlfriend. We have to play certain roles for which relationship is considered as a boon. But what if a person doesn’t want to engage in any kind of relationship?

As we grow up our vision gets limited by the society. We are able to see only those things which our society projects in front of us. And in doing so, we become the part of stereotypes. Why do we follow certain prescribed norms? Why don’t we question the conventions framed by the society? Why don’t we take ‘The Road Not Taken’?

The most accepted anticipation of this world is that single person can’t function properly. Society looks at them as if they are helpless people. It feels pity for them. It perceives them out of the norms. Why single parent and especially if she is a woman is not been given preference for a job?Why a single father is being considered of being not able to take proper care of his children, why

single child is being judged by others; why college students mock their friend who is not in arelationship? Does anything disturb you in being single? The society pressurizes single people atevery corner of the world.

But my friend, being single is totally a different ballgame altogether. Many people are surviving their lives on their own. They are single and carrying out their entire life perfectly single handidly. Their single status doesn’t define their character. They are in no way less than others. for example-A single person who doesn’t want to be in a relationship can also enjoy the pleasures of life; and without being having girlfriend and boyfriend, one can enjoy his college life too. Living your life in your own way, is the greatest treasure one can have. It is all about the choices that we make and some game is

played by our destiny too. As we say ‘The Show Must Go On’ ; if there is a single parent, he has to bear all the activities. A single parent can manage his work effectively and efficiently and at the same time also has the ability to raise his children with proper care. He gains all the power and even becomes stronger to protect his

child.

Being single or mingle, it’s totally our call. It is nowhere written that being into a relationship always counts a fair end. Many people long for being loved and cared by others to feel complete. But sometimes we find that their marriages are not successful ones. They sometimes bring miseries too.

Relationships don’t always sound good. Thus live your life your own way.

Being Single is a blessing in disguise. It gives you freedom, gives you your mindset, you are not bound to anyone, you feel free and your money also gets saved. You become more creative and there is lot of happiness all around. You can live your life on your terms and conditions. And more preciously, you are able to connect with yourself. It gives you deep understanding about your nature and you are able to realise your worth and true identity.

Let’s break those stereotypes; Let’s end this stigma.
There is nothing wrong with being single.
Let’s celebrate our singlehood; solo living !
