I couldn't think of a way to shut a door on the possibility of US.

Shall there be another man, holding you in his arms and building a big castle around you, probably stronger than what my life got washed into? Probably,he will stare at your fluttering eyes at 4 in the morning while you are dreaming. And it won't be me. He will kiss your parched lips when you wake up thirsty and fill you with the sumptuous passion I couldn't give you.

Am I a weak man because I couldn't hold back my tears when my eyes welled up at the thought of losing you? And is he stronger because of the million thrusts he'll please you with while you run out of breath? He will sniff your hair then, when you approach him, wearing nothing but that beautiful laughter and the intoxicating messy bunI was addicted to. He will kiss you where some hair stick to your neck with sweat and have all of you. But he will take more from you, more than I could ever give you. Will you avert your eyes from his stares like you used to shy away from me when I pulled you close. Will your skin unravel an array of goosebumps under his warm lips? Why won't it be US again? The world won't hold any record that we existed and then drifted apart like we never did. All of the struggles I had with you and the dragons we fought together, will be nothing but a virtual memory from a stranger's eye, while you laugh about it ten years from now. You will remember all the times I have let you down and the times when things didn't work out And why we are not together today. But you will rarely remember the first time our eyes met or the night we talked about how you will never forget me even if we are not meant to be.

Time is so transitory,isn't it?

And you've learnt to grow your heart with time. But my heart is a whirlpool of frozen emotions. And I don't want to live out of it.

Hold my hand once and run down the memory lane once, may be?

Before you close a door on the possibility of US, for the last time.
