Personality - A Superpower To Master

A person’s personality is defined by their characteristics, behaviours, thoughts, and feelings. These aspects start developing during childhood and are strengthened and moulded as the person grows into adulthood. It can also be said as the sum total of ways in which an individual reacts and interacts with others. Personality is the deeply ingrained and relatively enduring patterns of thought, feeling and behaviour. In fact, when one refers to personality, it generally implies to all what is unique about an individual, the characteristics that make one stand out in a crowd.

Now coming to Personality development, it is the act of celebrating your uniqueness without hesitations and boundaries, but only with more enthusiasm and liveliness. Personality Development is gaining more and more important because it enables people to create a good impression of themselves on others.

The aspects of personality being developed do not even necessarily have to do with words and communications verbally, it is the essence of a personality that stands out, as being one that is developed, because of the enthusiasm, that is denoted by that personality, with or without saying anything. Personalities of actors, for instance, take SRK, or Tom Cruise, are super-charming, even with their mere presence. They do not have to say anything for their personalities to shine. Similarly, a well-rounded and developed personality is one that does not always have to be tested by speech and communication, a mere presence can be felt of a desirable personality, with proper development.

If you are too shy to speak when in a group, then this only means you lack self-esteem and confidence. If your relationship with your family is not too well, then it only means you lack communication and trust among each other. All these can be changed if you strive to improve and develop your personality. It separates you from the crowd!

Let’s focus on a major personality trait.

Body Language is a vague and interesting topic. In essence, if you want to achieve an effective personality, you will also need to improve your body language.

A body language plays a key role in conveying the message, and also shows the inner-self.

Even the posture for standing on the stage matters a lot. At times, it may convey the message in the wrong way. Also, the ways a person tries to call someone on to the stage makes a difference in the body language.

There are many ways you can improve your body language, but like most things, it needs practice and consistency so that it will become part of you, and not just something you can do for a certain period of time. If you want to develop your personality in a positive way, you need to be aware of your own body language and make sure it adheres to what is generally perceived as positive body language.
