Poverty Ended

Once there lived a boy whose family conditions were not good enough. His father used to play cards all day and in this way he sold all their land. When he was small his dad used to come home drunk. In order to get some money, his mom started working. She used to work in the farms all day. She told her son to study hard, earn some money and make her proud. He could not go to English medium school because of his family conditions. They were not able to afford the school fees of a private school. So he did his schooling in a government school in the village.

He was a brilliant student in his school days. He was not having bicycle but he always wanted to learn to ride it. So, once his dad went somewhere outside. The very minute his dad left, he took his dad’s bicycle and started learning and learned it really well. Somehow his mother used to manage to make money and then he completed his schooling. Now it was time for him to go to college. He gave his NDA exams which he could not qualify just because of one mark. Later, he gave his aeronautical engineering entrance exam in which he qualified but he could not afford to pay the fees because of the family conditions. So, he decided to go for Bachelor of Science degree. His mother wanted him to complete his education. So she managed money for his son. He didn’t even had a bicycle. Just to save few bucks he would walk all way to the college. This way he completed his bachelor’s degree.

Then he wanted do M.sc but he had to go to city for that and needed money. His mother again managed to send him to the city to learn. He stayed in the city for a month but he knew his family condition was not that good to stay in the hostel. So he decided to leave the hostel and go back home. He used to go to the college only at the practical and exams time. He was very good at his studies. He completed his master’s degree in organic chemistry. Later, he got a selected in campus interview in a very good company. That day he called his mom and told her the news. This is how he ended the poor condition of his family and made his mother proud.
