Five Songs to Uplift You

Each one us goes through gloomy days when the whole world around seems meaningless and unachievable. Acceptance is hard to get and it often hurt when we love someone but we get nothing back. People ask us not to keep expectations but, isn’t it same as expecting us not to expect? Well, that's too much of it. But wait! We always have a way to deal with things, at least I have.

I figured out some songs which I used to listen at intervals all thru my day and they uplifted me a level up, and now I don’t even think of what bad happened to me or what was my loss. And by now, it feels like, I’m here to feel myself, blazing like a glorious star in the night sky. I hope these will help you, people, to come up too.

1. Khudi from The Local Train

The local train is one of my favorite band for its very realistic lyrics, they tend to explain how things actually work in this real world. And their videos they have some hidden meanings to explore, they don’t make it to bring an idea to your mind, but to help you make one, the one you need to accept thru it. And this is how it goes...

Khudi ko khud se Milane
Chalaa hai oh Deewane
Gawah hai Guzare Zamaane
Jale hai jab Parwaane…

2. Yuhin chala chal rahi from the album - Swadesh

You cannot call yourself a lover of Hindi music if you don’t know Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher. This is really an encouraging song asking people to do whatever feels right to them, and cherishing the world along thru their journey. Okay, I know the song belong to the early twenties, but I know you are gonna surely love it if you try this. I hope this uplifts you.

Man Apne Ko Kuch Aisa Halka Paaye,
Jaise Kandhon Pe Rakha Bojh Hat Jaaye
Jaise Bhola Sa Bachpan Phir Se Aaye,
Jaise Barson Mein Koi Ganga Nahaye…

Ohh yes the Ganges, you should try bathing in the Ganges too, it's magical. Nothing heals better than the Ganges.

3. Zinda from the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag

This one is derived from a movie based on an Indian Athlete who made us proud at the Commonwealth by winning the Gold, yes that's the Flying Sikh. If he can overcome such obstacles you too can. Things don’t get sorted by themselves, we had to put in efforts and earn what we truly deserve.

Zinda hai toh pyaala pura bharle
Kancha phoote choora kanch karle
Zindagi ka yeh ghada re
Ek saans mein chadha re
Hichkiyon mein kya marna
Poora mar le…

Well, that fills my spirit with brand new energy to make it out, anyhow.

4. Mizaaj from the Local train

There is a reason why this is my favorite brand and by now, you must have had a clue about that. This one starts with a low tone indicating what a person may be thinking when he started his journey on this land. Sooner he realizes, that he was mistaken. But then, the tune rises, pulling the drowning child within and then it's all about the spotlight and the stage. Once on it, there is no way back down.

Khudgarz iss nadaan dil se koi puchhe
Haal kya hai
Socha kabhi badlenge jahaan
Har ghadi ye hume badalta hai…

And then the magic happens.

5. Chale Chalo from the movie Laggan

This one is set in the frames of an Indian village when it was under the British’s influence. It unveils the harsh situation imposed upon the folks of that village. Then they fought for their wellness, and this song is the one that motivated them to do so. Don’t you think we too can obtain the same for ourselves? Just move freely and don’t think what people think about you. It's just you and your way to success nothing else. This is an Amazing inspiration from A.R. Rehman.

Baar baar haan, bolo yaar haan
Apni jeet ho, unki haar haan)
Koi humse jeet na paave
Chale chalo, chale chalo…

Break your bounds and move out of this darkness. You have a life, live it like one.

Thanks.
