Nature walk

The curving roads lead the way to the upper Mall from where ascend to monkey point near the air force base. Shri Baba Balak Nath Temple which is even at a greater height requires a 4-kilometre Uphill hike.

Couples who wish to bring new life to earth specially visit this place in order to receive the grace. The spectacular view from the vantage point covers the entire horizon and the colourful canvas comprises of hills and deep ravines.

Nested in the middle of this, is the sleepy town of Dagshai, and on the bright clear sunny day, the river of Sutlej can be spotted distinctively meandering across the Plains, dropping off the Dhauladhar range and the Chur Chandni peak.

Kasauli is also hometown the many of the bird species that can be spotted here which range from hummingbirds flycatchers and magpies.

EMBARKING ON A JOURNEY!

The Chestnut trails lay down in the utmost elegance waiting to be tread upon!
It will take you to those days when the forest was not carved to make mountain roads, and the undulating, rugged terrain is quite an adventure to walk through.

In the month of April to June, when the chestnut trees are in full bloom, the Sanawar Hill hike of 5.5 km must surely be done for its enchanting elegance.

The lovely fragrance of the lemon chestnut trees can be smelt all the way down at the bottom of the village of Dharampur.
