There are some adventures just meant to be off the signal so your mind don't buzz with distractions like daily affairs of urban life. Sometimes one wants them to keep aside and loose oneself into the aura of nature where one just enjoys it right. How about when such adventures come with no mobile signals at all? So that there is not even a thinnest slick of dime to distract you? If this idea sounds fancy to you, then follow along and see what these offbeat places have to offer you.

Butterfly Beach, Goa

Grab a ferry right from Palolem Beach in Goa and you are reached to the Butterfly beach. This beach is also famously known as a honeymoon beach. And hey, have you ever heard about butterflies on the beach? Yes, the trees at this beach are frequently visited by beautiful butterflies. This place is a perfect place to be for those who like it off the crowd and disturbance to enjoy the nature in its real sound.

To one side it is vast sea with horizon and to other side it is thick dense forest - just right for a picturesque beauty. If you like hiking, this beach can be visited through the thick dense forest and if not then there are ferries available from Palolem beach.

Such tricky and yet beautiful location has hence gotten under offbeat beaches to the Goa which gives it an edge.

On Trek to Zanskar-Chadar trail, Leh

Treacherous roads and steep mountains is the characteristic of this place. The Chedar Trek or Zanskar Gorge trail is a winter trail in Zanskar region of Ladakh in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Come January, February and March, Zanskar River brims with frozen ice. At some places layers of ice is clear enough to see its other side of water running just below your legs.

Winters in Leh are serverely extreme and the temperature can reach to as low as -30 to -35 degree Celsius which may get your body to waning energy. Hence you got to choose your trail season wisely!

There are frequent flights available from Delhi and Srinagar while the chances of getting these flights delayed or cancelled during winters is common affair due to bad weather.

Trek to Dzongri in Sikkim

Dzongri Peak: 4,000 meters
The trek starts from Kachenjunga National Park in Yuksom. The national Park entry costs hundreds rupees. The trek to Dzongri is ideally five days with one day of acclimatization (where a person adjusts to a change in its environment) at Tshoka village.

For stay purposes, Sikkim Tourism has constructed a wooden trekker's hut on the way which costs one 50 rupees/day a room.

Best season time for visiting: mid March-April, then from September to mid October, if one wants to avoid snowfall and monsoon rains.
