Older Generation Vs Gen Z

The major topic around us but never discussed the way it is.
People have versus in sports, people have versus in politics, people have versus in competitions but there is a major VERSUS which we are seeing around us but are not observing it. Mind you there is huge difference between seeing and observing.

Have you noticed that in every household there are 2 to 3 generations (of course we mostly see 2 because of the "nuclear family concept" which people understand as there must be only 2 generations in this concept)?? Now you might be getting an idea where I am going. Hang in there for a bit and continue reading, don't stop. It will make sense as you continue reading. Now for this article, lets take the case of 3 generations.

Three generations living in a house. The A, B and C teams. Keep guessing which team you belong to😉. The A Team is the team which knows everything about the present butdoes not know how to use the information and end up in big trouble.The B Team is the team which knows the best of both(past and present) and knows how to handle and use that information till they are in the safe zone. The C Team is the team which knows only a little bit but is happy to not use that information and lives happily oblivious to all the information which is getting people into trouble.

What will happen when all these teams clash with each other? Now comes the VERSUS I was talking about. The Teams B and C are now one Team, Team D. Now it is Team D VERSUS Team A. Team D consists of the people who know the best of both and people who are oblivious to everything and still are happy with their lives. Team A is already known to you( if you have been following what you are reading). Now when the ideas of these two clash obviously it is nothing less than a war. On one side there is advising and ordering and on the other side there is arguing and disobeying.

YES I am talking about our generation and the older generation. The older generation advises us on the things we take up to do which might or might not be good for us, that depends on their advice. Our generation almost always goes against those advices and disobeys them whenever they get a chance to. Here I am not telling our generation is wrong and the older generation is right, no but what I am telling is that both have one major flaw in common (which is surprising). They both do not understand each other which is not to be blamed because of their mindsets which is not a problem because if you were able to change people's mindsets there would not have been World War 1 in the first place. Ok coming to the point, the misunderstandings between the two generations are creating the big war between them. One's traditional block in mind doesnot allow that generation to understand the other and the other's stubbornness and arguing block in mind doesnot allow them to understand the other.

The OLDER generation needs to understand that our generation doesnot know all the traditions that they know and that's why we question everything they advise us because they do not tell the logic behind those traditions. OUR generation needs to understand that it is better to listen to their advices and then speak (not argue). There are misunderstandings and logical reasons which are creating a gap between the two generations. We need to strike a balance between both in order to maintain peace between the two generations after all the older generation need to advise our generation about what is right and wrong and our generation needs to help the older generation to adjust in this whole new digital world.

Hey, when we cannot live without each other it is better to understand and compliment each other.
