Terrorism- A Threat To Humanity...

The word Terrorism means an act of doing violent activities against the non-combatants or civilians, usually motivated by political, religious and ideological beliefs.

The people who are directly or indirectly involved in these violent activities are stated as Terrorists. Terrorism can not be linked with organized crime as there are some key difference between them. As we know, Terrorism is politically or socially motivated whereas organized crime is profit motivated. Terrorists do need media attention while organized crime never needs so. According to the act passed by General Assembly, says that if a person is mentally ill then his doings couldn't be considered as a Terrorist activities.

• As every tree needs its root to feed itself, similarlyterror camps are the roots of Terrorism. There are several terror camps which are active throughout the world and they could be named as ISIS, Hamas, FARC, Hezbollah, Taliban, Al- Qaeda, Al- Shabab, REAL IRA, Boko Haram, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba. There are several masterminds who do operate these terrorists like Masood Azhar, Hafiz saeed, Osama-bin-laden etc. These are the operators of various terror attacks throughout the world. These terrorists get funding through various sources like:Kidnappings

• Ransom

• Drugs production and trafficking

• Financial aid and donations

• Oil trade

• Bank robberies and looting

On 26 November 2008, there was a group of attacks in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Taj hotel, Nariman house, Leopold cafe and Cama hospital. There were bombings, shootings and hostage crisis. This was all done by a Islamic terrorist organization named as Lashkar-e-Taiba. These attacks were done by 10 people which carried out bombing attacks lasting four days. The Mastermind of this whole attack was Hafiz saeed.

Recently, all of us got to know about one more attack on 14th February 2019 in the Awantipura district of Jammu and Kashmir. A convoy on vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway, was attacked by a suicide bomber or car bombed in which we lost more than 40 CRPF soldiers. Jaish-e-Mohammad took the responsibility of the attack.After such a massive attack, India also took its revenge from it by crossing the Line Of Control and crushed various terror based camps.

There are several countries which are facing the problem of Terrorism. According to the Global Peace Index, the top 5 most peaceful countries are Iceland, New Zealand, Austria, Portugal and Denmark whereas in top 5 least peaceful countries are Syria, Afghanistan, South Sudan,Iraq and Somalia.The countries with least peace are experiencing the hell like treatment on this humanitarian planet.

But there are several countries which took action against it just to prove that evilness won't lasts forever.

One of those is the surgical strike done by America in which it killed Osama-bin-laden and many of his main terrorists. In this Operation, various special tasks forces were involved like United States Navy SEALS of the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

At the end, Terrorism violates the nature of humanity. A war is never a solution to anything as it just causes killings both sides but this terrorism could only be crushed by fighting against it together. In today's digital world, several students get fascinated to the offerings of these types of terror camps and they join it without knowing anything about it.

So, all we need is to curb this terrorism through our unity and fraternity so that anyone just by taking the name of “Allah” could not fool us.
