Why Did I Cheat..

And today I saw her
After an year almost, completely Changed
Wearing a black dress, hair shortened
But eyes totally the same ,wide and glittery
Standing with her boy, she looked and me
And immediately turned back
Maybe she didn't want to confront
Or maybe she just wanted to ignore me
But that one glance at me failed all her efforts
She still managed ,she wanted to tell
That once the love she had for me
Has been given to someone else
She wanted to tell
She didn't care about me anymore
Didn't say a hello even
Maybe she wanted me to initiate
Or maybe she was still angry
Hurt maybe ,for breaking her heart
For teaching her to love and then breaking her heart
For leaving her alone in the middle of the road
For making her feel loved for so many days and then leaving her as if I never cared
I did or maybe I didn't ,I thought it as one of those passing affairs but
Hell no! It wasn't , she was damn serious
But for me! For me she was just a cigarette
I threw off after smoking for a long time
She tried hard ,she even cried but
I had found a new cigar
For one year she tried, tried hard to fit in my heart
But her love was too heavy for my shallow mind
And today when I saw her with someone else
Holding hands, I couldn't do anything
I just smiled and passed, but inside
Even I knew what I had lost,
A gem which had my name carved but
Was there in someone's ring!

When we are immature ,we think of having more than one partners as a fun thing . But as we grow up ,we understand that real thing lies in being with one person and making that person feel secure and wanting to spend your whole life with that one person and that's when you realize all the people you have been wasting your time onwere of no use. It's easy to change partners ,leave one and catch another but being with one and ignoring everyone else is what a real human does.

There's a lot of difference between a man and boy and a lady and a girl ,we all need to understand this. Cheating isn't a sign of smartness rather it's the biggest foolishness ever. This is the thing many people need to understand.
