Band Baaja Baaraat And Bollywood!

If you're thinking that I'm going to write about the movie , "Band Baaja Baaraat" , You're wrong!I'm referring to the Band Baaja Baaraat that actually happened in Bollywood over the last year.

It was 2018 and the wedding season was on a roll. Maybe the actors found 2018 auspicious or the best year to marry , the reason why bollywood celebrity couples got hitched, one after the other.

It all started from the wedding of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. After dating for over 2 years , the couple decided to tie the knot on 8th May , 2018 in traditional Sikh tradition.This was just the beginning .

Next , were the most happening couple of Bollywood. Although Alauddin Khilji didn't get Rani Padmavati in the movie , Ranvir did get his Deepika. His Rani , for that matter. _(As said by him in a recent award show)_

After allegedly dating for 5 years , the couple got married in two different tradition's _viz_ Konkani and Sindhi in Italy on November 14-15 in a private ceremony, where only the close ones from both the families attended the wedding.

The photos of the wedding went viral when the couple shared it on their respective social media platforms. The couple held a series of receptions , one for family and friends and one for their friends from the industry. These two continue to give us major couple goals.

Now moving on to the next wedding , this one went international. Two individuals from two different countries brought the countries closer. Different cultures , different traditions and different programs were held keeping in mind , both Indian and Western culture.

Yes, we are talking about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. The couple had been dating for a while , and got engaged after Nick proposed to Peecee on her birthday. They both flew down to Mumbai for their Roka ceremony. The wedding took place at the Umaid Bhavan Palace. The Christan wedding took place first, followed by the Hindu wedding on December 2-3 respectively.

The couple later held a reception , which was attended by the Prime Minister of India , MR. NARENDRA MODI, who blessed the couple.

The last wedding of 2018 was of a familiar face. It was the wedding of an individual who's made us laugh over the years, who's made us realise that laughter is the best medicine.It was the wedding of Comedian Kapil Sharma and his long time girlfriend , Ginni Chatrath. The couple had been dating for a very long time. The wedding took place on 12th December in Punjab followed by a reception.
