We're living in the 21st century. It's the modern era. With modern technologies and all the modern ideas , we tend to be updated. We tend to be the trend setters.

While talking about setting trends for generations to come , it has to be something which is special. Something which is not as similar as other things. It has to be one of a kind. It has to be a show stopper. It has to get the people talking.

One such show stopper , unique and special time which cannot be compared to anything is the 80's.

Talking about the 80's era and the retro age , the lastest addition from the 80's era to the 21st century in the field of cricket is the "1986 AUSTRALIAN CRICKET JERSEY".

Yes! You heard it right. The Cricket Board of Australia has decided to bring back the "1986 ODI JERSEY".

After losing the test series against India , the Australian team is all set to take on the Indian Side for an ODI series starting from the 12th of January , for which the Cricket Board of Australia has introduced the New Jersey.

The team will be donning the CLASSIC 1986 JERSEY for the ODI series.

Here's the picture of the team wearing the Jersey.

Now , Comparing this to the original 1986 Jersey , here's the picture of the actual one.

Both the Jersey's look amazing , But the original stays the original.
While talking about the Jersey's , let's talk about who managed to look the best in it. It was none other than the little spinner , "ADAM ZAMPA". With the head band on , the Australian spinner looked absolutely an 80's guy!

Now , talking about the impact of retro on the modern era or talking about the "FANCY TOUCH" , The retro era had that magic which this era lacks. Maybe that's the reason why , the Australians tried to bring back the 80's jersey and give a retro touch to the modern era.

And they managed to do so. They look amazing and it feels like we're back to the 80's once again!
Australia has always been a team which experiments with their Jersey's. They were the first team in the history of cricket to have three different Jersey's in three different forms of the game. One for the tests ( the classy all white) , one for the ODI'S ( the above given 80's jersey picture) and one for the T20'S ( The Black and yellow one).
