So I watched E3 and thought that maybe perhaps I make an article about the biggest, most anticipated games that are to be released in the close future. Let's get on with the list!

  • Cyberpunk 2077- This is my personal favourite. This is a game that is being developed by CD Projekt Red, a studio that is known for the highly acclaimed 'Witcher' series. A role-playing game that is played from a first person perspective, one can expect to witness a futuristic world, full of people and technology that have never been heard or seen of in the era that we live in currently. We can expect the game to be released on April 16, 2020.

Also, can we just appreciate how we have Keanu Reeves (aka John Wick) in the trailer?! What if he actually portrays an actual character in the story?!!

  • The Last of Us Part II- An action adventure game that is a PlayStation exclusive and a sequel to its highly acclaimed predecessor 'The Last of Us' (2013), this game must be played by everyone that enjoys the thrills. Set five years after the first game, players can expect to see a change in character of the protagonist, Ellie as she is now older. Ellie now is now in conflict with an uncanny cult in the now post-apocalyptic United States. There is not an official release date yet, but we can expect it to release sooner than later!

  • Doom: Eternal- Do you want to play a game that has all the violence and gore? Do you want to play a game where literal hell has been unleashed on earth? Do you want to wipe out the demons of hell off the face of the earth? 'Doom: Eternal' has it all. A first-person shooter that is a sequel to 2016's 'Doom', fans can expect over-the-top action and will not be disappointed and letdown by the developers, id Software (also known for 'Wolfenstein' and 'Quake'). The game is scheduled to release on November 22, this year!

  • Halo Infinite- The sixth installment in the main 'Halo' series, fans are absolutely pumped about what we can see from the highly-acclaimed story that has been running ever since the first installment of 'Halo'. What we know so far is that compared to the previous installment in the long-running series, this story is more down-to-earth, on a scale that we can relate with; in other words, more human-like. Of course, the game is going to be action-packed with splendid colours and visuals. The game is scheduled for release next year. Longtime fans are sure to feel nostalgic.

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake- This game will retell the story of the 1997 title of the same name, but with current game technology. The upcoming action role-playing game is going to hit fans with heavy nostalgia of who had played the original. With the visuals that we see in games nowadays, battles with enemies compared with the original will be much much more exuberant and eye-popping. The game is a PlayStation exclusive and will be released on March 3, 2020.

  • Borderlands 3- The highly anticipated 'threequel' and serving as the fourth installment in the 'Borderlands' series, this action first-person role-playing game is surely going to be a visual treat and a ton of fun. The game takes place following Handsome Jack's death and Hyperion's fall, Lilith from the first 'Borderlands' game recruits familiar faces from previous games as well as new faces to battle a rising evil. The game is scheduled for release this September 13.
